Associate Research Professor of Epidemiology
Dr. Rice joined the Biostatistics Center in June 2002.
She completed her Ph.D. in 1999 in Epidemiology at the University of Washington in Seattle where she gained experience in the conduct of prospective community-based cohort studies and the epidemiology of aging.
Dr. Rice has served on a Data and Safety Monitoring Committee for a NHLBI-funded multi-center international trial and the NHLBI Clinical Trials Review Committee study section. She regularly serves as a reviewer for NIH grant reviews, scientific journals and meeting abstracts, and participates in obstetrics-related working groups aimed at standardizing clinical obstetric data definitions and core outcomes.
