Heidi Krause-Steinrauf

Lead Research Scientist

Heidi Krause-Steinrauf, joined the Biostatistics Center in 2002 as Co-I and Deputy Director of Protocols for the Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet Network.  She is currently the Co-Investigator and Project Director for the GRADE Study, a comparative effectiveness trial funded by NIDDK. She is the co-author of over 30 papers on the design, methods, analysis and conclusions of studies with which she has been involved. Her interests include data and safety monitoring and application of new technologies for efficient management of clinical trials. She serves as an ad hoc grant reviewer and has served on data and safety monitoring boards for trials in diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Ms. Krause-Steinrauf has been elected a fellow of the Society for Clinical Trials.
