Dr. MacPherson has over 25 years of experience as a biostatistician on a wide variety of multi-center clinical trials and observational studies. Her work has resulted in co-authorship on over 25 publications and has supported several dozen presentations at professional meetings. Her interests include the design and analysis of clinical trials and cohort studies, with a focus on maternal-child health.

Since 2014, she has been a scientific reviewer for the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program and currently participates on three Data and Safety Monitoring Committees.

In 2010, she won Social & Scientific System’s President’s Award for her work on the National Children’s Study.
