Discriminant function analysis of RR intervals: An algorithm for on-line arrhythmia diagnosis

Linear discriminant function analysis was applied to training and independent sets of common arrhythmias. Preliminary results and possibilities of on-line ECG monitoring based solely on RR intervals are discussed.
