At the Biostatistics Center, Dr. Rosin has served as co-investigator on the Glycemia Reduction Approaches in Type 2 Diabetes: A Comparative Effectiveness (GRADE) Study. On GRADE, he collaborates with medical researchers on several scientific projects. Data sources used in these projects include continuous glucose monitoring, biomarkers such as hemoglobin A1c and glycated albumin, electrocardiograms, neurocognitive assessments, baseline demographic and medical questionnaires, and mathematical modeling of beta-cell function from glucose tolerance tests.

Dr. Rosin received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was supported in part by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program and an NIH T32 training grant in biostatistics and mental health neuroimaging and genomics. His dissertation developed methods to standardize results to target populations when estimating SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence and vaccine correlates of protection. Dr. Rosin has also published research on links between the human gut microbiome and mental health.
