As stated in the Preface, the principal objective of this book is as a textbook for courses in biostatistical methods at the graduate level. The webpage for the first edition (link above) includes the syllabus for the one semester graduate course that I taught from the first edition of the book, excluding the chapter on survival analysis that is the topic of a separate course. I have not taught from the Second Edition.

The webpages for the first edition provide ready access to the data sets and SAS programs used in that edition. That material can also be accessed by clicking Biostatistical Methods Overview, Programs and Datasets
